Ok, so Jim has a chain of 36 4 (40) and 36 6 (42) cm. So, first of all to convert that to inches.

A. 12in./ft x 3 feet = 36 inches [36 is too short]

as we know, is 36 feet 3 inches, show the B-May

B. 36 + 3 / 4 = 36 + m (3 / 4 ft. x 12 in. / ft) = 36 + (36 / 4 ") = 36 + 9 = 45, as in [45] too long

C. 36 + 1 / 2 feet = 36 + (1 / 2 feet 12in./ft x) = 36 + (12 / 2 inches) = 36 + 6 = 42 [42 is at hand, is perhaps the best as the Evaluation D]

D. 2 1 / 2 = m (2 x 12 in. / ft) + (1 / 2 meter x 12 meter) = 24 + (12 / 2 inches) = 24 + 6 = 30 in [too small, so C is the correct answer.]

----------

A simpler way would be Jim's size 36 or (36 "/ 12 / m) = 3 feet 4 to 6 inches must be extrA 4 / 12 feet to 6 / 12 feet or 1 / 3 feet further to 1 / 2 feet. Then it takes 3 1/3ft 3 1/2ft rope. And you can see that C is the only response that falls in this area.

Need 40 to 42 centimeters long, which means that up to 42 divide (I'm 40, 41, 42, the other does not) work as a unit, then 42 out of 12, give the answer to my feet to share what the reaction of 3, 5 meters, which brings even the most likely to respond and is the only correct answer,
As for the work that works.

36 +6 = 42
42 / 12 = 3.5Feet

Answer: 3.5 feet, or C

36in waist. 4in-6in is on their size, so you can bind a node on a length of 40in-42in. 12 inch = 1 foot. 40/12 = 3.33ft, 3.41ft = 41/12 and 42/12 = 3/5ft so the answer is the answer options will appear Ur 3 1 / 2 The answer ur C.
